People are now without heat or water due to widespread disruptions in electricity and water supply brought on by intense missile attacks in metropolitan areas, a report from UNICEF states.

UNICEF contributed to inter-agency convoys that brought food, water, hygiene kits, shelter materials, and winterization supplies to thousands of families and children who had been stuck without assistance for five months in the retaken oblasts of eastern Ukraine.

4,629,537 kids and women in Ukraine have had access to primary healthcare since February 24 thanks to facilities supported by UNICEF and mobile teams.

Additionally, infant and young child feeding counseling has been provided to 115,241 caregivers of children ages 0 to 23 months.

Since February 24, 989,332 people have received essential water, sanitation, and hygiene supplies, including in retaken districts, and 3,923,924 people have had access to safe drinking water.

857,825 kids have participated in formal or informal education since February 24. 421,636 kids have benefited from learning interventions.

A total of 189,579 households have benefited from multipurpose humanitarian cash transfers sponsored by UNICEF.

In order to help those in need in the eastern Kharkivska, southern Khersonska, and northern Donetska oblasts, UNICEF continued to support multi-agency operations. In order to provide life-saving assistance to the affected population in Lyman and Yampil, Donetsk oblast (2,000+ people, including 441 children), Kupiansk, Kharkiv oblast (2,000 people), and Velyka Oleksandrivka, Kherson oblast (5,000+ people), UNICEF and other United Nations agencies organized four inter-agency convoys and missions. In addition to providing services at Spilno Child Spots, multidisciplinary mobile teams responded to outreach requests.
