Russia Needs New Long-Term Action Strategy, Putin Says

The government should take into consideration the new reality related to the coronavirus pandemic when drafting the action plan on economic recovery, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday, as reported by TASS.

“We must address the new reality when planning the long-term action strategy,” the head of state said. It is also required to take into account changes on market and in cooperation ties, use new business models and scientific achievements, Putin added.

“We should not merely stabilize the situation. We know the world is changing. The crisis related to the coronavirus pandemic influences on the key markets, on the system of cooperative ties. Companies, including Russian ones, are looking for and quickly implementing fundamentally new business models based on digital and other advance solutions,” the President added.
