Russian President Vladimir Putin signed decrees on a lump sum payment of 10 thousand rubles to every pensioner in September.
Two decrees – “On a one-time cash payment to certain categories of citizens receiving a pension” and “On a one-time cash payment to citizens receiving a pension” – were posted on the Kremlin’s website, Russian media reported.
The first decree concerns recipients of pensions, if the pension is assigned following the law of February 12, 1993 No. 4468-I “On Pension Provisions for Persons Who Have Served Military Service, Service in Internal Affairs Bodies, State Fire Service, Drug Control Bodies and psychotropic substances, institutions and bodies of the penal system, the troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, the enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation, and their families. ”
The second decree applies to all other categories of pensioners.
“A payment is to be made in September 2021 by the territorial bodies of the Pension Fund, based on the documents contained in the payment or pension file, without citizens applying for a lump sum payment,” the Kremlin website notes.
At the same time, citizens who simultaneously receive two pensions, one of which is paid by the Russian Pension Fund (PFR), will receive a one-time cash payment from the territorial bodies of the PFR.
