The 11th International Defense Exhibition, IDEAS 2022, is being held in Karachi, Pakistan, and is being attended by a delegation led by the defense industry minister of Azerbaijan, Madat Guliyev, Azernews reported.
The minister visited the Turkish Defense Industry Committee’s display and became familiar with the other exhibits at the international defense show.
A meeting between Madat Guliyev and Muhammad Israr Tareen, Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Defense Production, was also conducted. During this discussion, the two men talked about areas of common interest and the potential for military cooperation.
At IDEAS 2022, Muhammad Israr Tareen welcomed Guliyev and said that Pakistan and Azerbaijan had friendly and familial ties.
He emphasized the value of collaboration between the two nations and said there are chances to expand their shared military manufacturing cooperation.
The minister also pledged Pakistan’s unwavering support for Azerbaijan’s sovereignty and defense.
More than 300 delegates from more than 57 nations will attend the event, which will take place from November 15 to 18.
Pakistan and Azerbaijan will commemorate the 30th anniversary of the start of diplomatic ties on June 9, 2022. Despite their physical separation, Pakistan and Azerbaijan share a unique political tie. It makes it possible for cooperation in many areas, especially those involving industry and the military.
Numerous gatherings have been held since Azerbaijan’s independence to examine ways to increase bilateral commerce and multidimensional collaboration. Strategic partnership connections exist between the two close-knit nations.
Pakistan was one of the first nations to publicly support Azerbaijan during the 44-day conflict with Armenia in 2020. Pakistan further assists Azerbaijan in reclaiming its freed areas.
