The Kronshtadt Company is planning to start new production capacities for drones on their customer’s territory including foreign countries, TASS informed.

This was said by the company’s CEO Sergey Bogatikov at an Army-2021, An International Military-Technical Forum that closed outside Russia’s capital city Moscow.

The CEO said that they have been considering other sites as potential places for the production of the drones on the territory of their customer, including the ones that are located abroad.

Bogatikov noted that as the users and buyers of the drones Kronshtadt produces are prepared for that step, the Company is going to become active in the effort to make that happen. Kronshtadt is currently building a new production facility in Dubna, a town near Moscow. The new facility started construction works in the spring of this year and is aimed at expanding the output. He also added that they are due to launch the cycle of production late in November or at the beginning of December.

Kronshtadt is also planning to use the new capacities in Dubna in order to increase the production of drones as well as other ground-based control systems, Bogatikov highlighted.

The Kronshtadt Company is an enterprise that produces drones and covers the full cycle of production, meaning the design process, testing process, and certification.

Since its establishment in 1991, the Company with the former name Tranzas has been part of numerous projects for the development of onboard, land, and seaborne systems, but it has also taken credit for multiple military equipment simulators and other interactive technology.

The Army 2021 International Military-Technical Forum was taking place from August 22 to August 28 at the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Center near Moscow.
