Atomenergoremont records 40% revenue increase

As a result of a 40.5% increase in sales in the period of January through September of 2022, Atomenergoremont, a Bulgarian enterprise that maintains the machinery in power plants, increased its net profit from 9.6 million levs a year earlier to 12.2 million levs ($6.25 million/6.2 million euro), See News reports.

According to an intermediate financial statement released by Atomenergoremont in late October, the company’s overall sales grew to 47.6 million levs from 33.9 million levs during the same time in 2021.

When compared to the period from January through September of the previous year, the income from service sales—which accounts for 99% of the total profit—jumped from 30.9 million to 41.7 million levs.

Atomenergoremont’s operational costs increased over the study period from 23.85 million levs in the first nine months last year to 32.8 million levs for the same period this year.

Atomenergoremont marked a significant increase in assets – from 230.8 million levs in September of last year to 240.4 million levs at the end of September.

Bulgaria’s lone nuclear power station, Kozloduy NPP, is Atomenergoremont’s principal customer.

The machinery repair and maintenance business stated in August that a local investment company, EF Asset Management, had acquired a total ownership of 5.8522% of its share capital.

The Bulgarian Stock Exchange’s BaSE market last saw shares of Atomenergoremont close at 6.20 levs.
