The Ministry for Veteran Affairs of Ukraine’s building underwent several renovations, including the installation of an access control system by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), a press release states.

The Ministry for Veteran Affairs of Ukraine’s primary duty is to establish the prerequisites for veterans to take the lead in the nation after the conflict. To raise the level of service provided by the Ministry, TİKA restored two rooms and the hallway leading to the administrative offices.

To enhance the security of the Ministry workers, veterans who utilize the Ministry’s services, and their families, the Agency also implemented a card entry and turnstile system in the Ministry building.

Both card access and turnstile systems track the quantity and intensity of entrance while ensuring authorized entry and access security.

Igor Yaremenko, Ukraine’s deputy minister for veteran affairs, Cüneyt Esmer, TİKA’s program coordinator in Ukraine, and members of the Ministry personnel were present at the project’s delivery ceremony. Yaremenko praised TİKA during the ceremony and expressed his hope that they will work together again the following year on further projects.
