Türkiye will begin requiring the usage of renewable energy in structures larger than a specific size on January 1, Anadolu Agency reports.
All properties with a total construction area of more than 5,000 square meters (53,800 square feet) must produce at least 5% of their power from renewable energy sources including solar energy panels, wind energy, and heat pumps.
Türkiye will also start using the UKCA regulation in commerce with the UK on January 1 in place of the CE product safety certification from Europe.
It is crucial for businesses who intend to export to this area to have UKCA documentation with their goods.
As part of the directive to increase exports, international trade fair subsidies will be more effective as of January 1.
The choice will result in attendance at fairs worldwide, regardless of the destination nation or industry. By covering 75% of the costs for micro/small businesses and promoting their participation in additional fairs, it also aims to disperse the subsidies for international fairs to the base.
