According to Chiril Gaburici, a former prime minister of Moldova and a member of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, the memorandum of understanding between the EU and Azerbaijan on energy cooperation is a sensible move and likely the start of a new phase of social and economic collaboration, Azernews reports.
According to Gaburici, the issue of security is important in the context of military and political confrontations. Responsible laws based on tolerance, compassion, patience, and a great deal of wisdom produce security. In these circumstances, Azerbaijan’s stability and predictability have come to be seen as particularly significant characteristics.
“I believe that this is another recognition of President Ilham Aliyev’s personal qualities as a responsible and wise leader. We must learn to cooperate more effectively and openly, to support each other, and to accept our differences – this is the way to lasting peace,” Gaburici said.
In this sense, the signing of the energy deal between the EU and Azerbaijan is a sensible move and is probably the start of a new phase of social and economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EU, the former PM underscores.
The global discussion, according to Gaburici, cannot be perceived as positive and cordial since the world economy is through a significant crisis of trust.
“Azerbaijan has made significant progress in socio-economic development and is well on its way. Social stability in Azerbaijan is Azerbaijan’s investment in regional stability,” he said.
Additionally, he was very grateful for the President of Azerbaijan’s support of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center.
The Nizami Ganjavi International Center is a well-known venue for international collaboration and might help advance intercultural communication. President Ilham Aliyev’s efforts to support the organization’s operation are much valued, he added.
The former prime minister stated that the Nizami Ganjavi International Center will step up its efforts in the coming months to promote the global conversation and assist in giving top priority to issues like climate change, global warming, air, water, and soil pollution, as well as the food crisis.
“We are facing big issues that can and must unite us – and our Nizami Ganjavi International Center can be a key contributor to this process,” he concluded.
