Azerbaijan’s total nautural gas production for the first three quarters of 2022 amounted to 34.4 billion cubic meters (bcm), local media reports.
Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli produced the most natural gas – 10 bcm, followed Shah Deniz – 18.5 bcm, and SOCAR – 5.9 bcm.
Gas sales overseas were 16.3 bcm during the reporting period, a 22.6% increase from the same time previous year. Gas was exported to Europe, Georgia, and Turkiye in the amounts of 8.3 bcm, 1.9 bcm, and 6.1 bcm respectively, during the course of nine months. During this time, roughly 4.2 billion cubic meters of gas were exported to Turkiye via TANAP, the report underlines.
Approximately 200 bcm of gas have been generated from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and more than 176 bcm of gas have been produced from Shah Deniz since their launch on October 1 of this year. 122.6 bcm of gas were exported from Shah Deniz during this time.
Between January and September 2022, Azerbaijan produced 24.5 million tons of oil (including condensate). 15.4 million tons of the oil produced in the republic were from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli, while 3.3 million tons came from Shah Deniz (condensate). SOCAR produced 5.8 million tons of oil (including condensate).
Condensate was included in the 19.7 million tons of exported oil. Out of this, SOCAR accounts for 1.1 million tons and consortium for around 18.6 million tons.
Nearly 600.9 million tons of oil (including condensate) have been produced from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz from their commissioning up until October 1, 2022. ACG produced 561.8 million tons of oil, and Shah Deniz produced 39.1 million tons of condensate. Since October 1st, 599 million tons of this have been shipped.
Between January and September 2022, 4.5 million tons of oil were refined in the nation.
